  • The Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS) is a UK government initiative that provides grants to help homeowners and small non-domestic properties replace fossil fuel heating systems (such as gas or oil boilers) with low-carbon alternatives like air source heat pumps or ground source heat pumps. The scheme is designed to support the transition to cleaner heating and reduce long-term energy costs.

  • Eligible property owners can receive:

    • £7,500 towards an air source heat pump

    • £7,500 towards a ground source heat pump

    The grant is applied upfront, reducing the total installation cost. Our team manages the application process on your behalf.

  • To qualify, you must:

    • Own the property (homeowners and landlords may apply)

    • Be replacing an existing fossil fuel heating system

    • Have a valid Energy Performance Certificate (EPC)

    • Meet basic insulation requirements (where applicable)

    • Heat pump installations

    • Solar PV and battery storage

    • Smart heating controls

    • Insulation upgrades

    • Heating system optimisation

  • Yes. BUS funding can be used alongside privately funded measures such as insulation, solar panels, or battery storage. We create tailored packages that maximise available support while ensuring the system works efficiently as a whole.

  • If you’re not eligible for BUS, we offer flexible finance options, including low-interest or interest-free payment plans. This allows you to spread the cost while still benefiting from improved efficiency and reduced energy bills.

  • Yes. All installations include manufacturer warranties (typically 5–10 years depending on the system), along with workmanship guarantees from our approved installers for added peace of mind.
