How Warmr collects, uses and protects your personal information.
Last updated: July 2026
Who we are
Warmr provides home energy improvement quotations and connects homeowners with accredited installers. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and the rights you have over it. We are the data controller for the information you provide through this website.
What information we collect
- Contact details you give us — your name, email, phone number and postcode.
- Property and project details — the address, its energy characteristics, and the upgrades you’re interested in.
- Publicly available property data, such as Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) information for your address.
- Basic technical data — such as the pages you visit — via cookies (see our Cookie Policy).
How we use your information
- To prepare and provide your indicative quotation.
- To check whether you may qualify for grants or funding.
- To pass your enquiry to a suitable accredited installer so they can arrange a survey and firm quote.
- To contact you about your enquiry, and — only with your consent — about relevant products and offers.
Our lawful basis
We process your data to take steps at your request before entering into a contract (providing your quote), on the basis of our legitimate interests in operating the service, and — for marketing — on the basis of your consent. You can withdraw consent at any time.
Who we share it with
We share your enquiry with the accredited installer(s) best suited to your project so they can help you directly. We use trusted service providers to operate our systems. We do not sell your personal data.
How long we keep it
We keep your information only for as long as necessary to provide the service and to meet our legal obligations, after which it is securely deleted or anonymised.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the processing of your data, to object to processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these, or to complain, contact us using the details below. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
